ARMO-Systems has signed a distribution agreement with the Russian IT-company RecFaces, which focuses on biometric identification software products and solutions development for ACS, VMS, and various business solutions. ARMO-Systems will supply both ready-made boxed RecFaces solutions adapted to the needs of various economic sectors under the contract, and participate in joint projects to integrate RecFaces products into industry solutions, some of which have already been launched.
Nowadays, RecFaces provides 10 biometric identification software products for specific tasks in banking, sports, and retail, as well as for hotels, government agencies, and city services. Being RecFaces’ system software, Id-Me technological platform allows to perform a wide range of functions from facial identification and verification to statistical data collection. Id-Guard and Id-Gate products aim at biometric identification of people within the VMS. Id-Target has been developed to boost business efficiency through biometric data evaluation.
Being one of the newest RecFaces facial biometric identification products, Id-Time has been devised for reliable staff working hours accounting. As for the brand-new products for banks and financial entities, Id-ATM and Id-Line, have been developed respectively for biometric access to transactions through ATMs and expanding the capabilities of electronic queue terminals. Furthermore, RecFaces provides Id-Logon software for secure access to operating systems or information systems based on a person’s biometrics.
The key advantages of RecFaces products and solutions include high facial recognition accuracy, less than 1.5 seconds identification, an open API interface for rapid integration with any external system. RecFaces products’ success is closely linked to technological partnerships with such well-known companies as Intel, Microsoft, Schneider Electric, Lenel, dormakaba, Pelco, Milestone Systems, etc. For instance, VxFaces facial recognition plug-in has been created in partnership with Pelco for the VMS VideoXpert system. Besides, partnership with Milestone Systems has resulted in the creation of a plug-in for the Id-Guard solution.
«ARMO-Systems is one of the largest Russian security systems equipment distributors. The partnership with ARMO-Systems is of strategic importance for RecFaces, since it has recently entered the domestic market. We have implemented several complex facial biometrics international projects, that now can be safely adjusted and implemented in the Russian Federation with the help of accomplished ARMO-Systems’ professionals. The launch of sales of our biometric solutions through such a large and competent distributor will strengthen our market position and boost further joint development,» says Tamara Morozova, CEO of RecFaces.
