RecFaces introduces new data synchronization tool for Enterprise-level solutions

RecFaces, the developer of facial recognition biometric products, announces the implementation of new successful project to introduce facial biometrics in distributed access control systems based on class A+ Business Center.
The project was implemented in the first quarter of 2022 for a company, which concluded an additional NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) with RecFaces. The main goal of the project was to increase the level of security at the client's facility by adding biometric checks at access control points. In addition, it was necessary to develop a scheme in which independent customer systems would be connected by a common information space. Special attention should be paid to combining and organizing large amounts of data so that records of employees and visitors passing through ACS devices are not duplicated in the databases of different systems.
Two RecFaces face recognition solutions were installed and configured at the customer's facility. This is Id-Gate — a software product for enriching ACS with biometric capabilities, and Id-Guard — a similar software product for video surveillance systems, designed to identify people by face in a video stream. ACS and video surveillance systems by various manufacturers were installed at the facility, so working with them became an additional challenge for the company's specialists. Despite this fact, RecFaces provided end-to-end integration of several ACSs and video surveillance systems for the territorially distributed customer infrastructure.
According to the results of the joint work of the vendor and the integrator company, the customer received a universal tool for synchronizing data of integrable systems based on RecFaces biometric products. That way you can choose your own terms and data synchronization parameters for each system, as well as assign priority actions when processing existing records. In other words, each instantiation of the RecFaces software solution can not only take a set of data from one information system and supplement it with the results of biometric identification by face, but also transfer this data to another information system. Depending on the set synchronization rules, the data will be sent to the recipient, replacing or updating the information.
An external system can be either one or many information systems of the customer's infrastructure or any of the RecFaces products. Thus, the new development will allow you to create any combination of software solutions of the company and carry out their clustering.
